You can select a medical problem needing a dietary modification and follow the diet for 3 days. Self-monitor using a 3-day food diary including meals, snacks and beverages. Submit the materials with your written comments on the effects of self-monitoring on a modified diet. In addition, investigate resources available to support someone with the specified medical condition and include those resources in your final report. This activity is also about sharing the “lived experience” of following a particular meal plan. For example, how did other individuals in the house respond to you changing your meal pattern, were they supportive, did you have a difficult time meal planning and/or finding foods that would fit? How did you approach eating out or how would you approach eating out while on this meal plan?
